Legal Aid Attorneys Present at Immigration-Centered Events
In the first week of March, Legal Aid attorneys presented at Know Your Rights immigration-centered events throughout Milwaukee.
On March 6, Attorneys Angela Feliciano, Brendaliz Valdes, Sophia Flood Elyafi, and Pedro Hernandez provided Power of Attorney/POA services at the Wisconsin Hispanic Scholarship Foundation/Mexican Fiesta Offices, along with attendance by Executive Director, Attorney Colleen Foley.
On March 8, Executive Director Foley participated in the Hmong American Friendship Association's panel on deportation concerns. The panel included Congresswoman Gwen Moore, Milwaukee County DA Kent Lovern, and MPD Deputy Sheriff Brian Barkow, as well as representatives from the Milwaukee Police Department.
