What We Do
Legal Aid Society of Milwaukee provides expert civil legal services at no cost to more than 6,000 eligible families and individuals each year. Our team specializes in a range of matters that better enable our clients to redevelop and strengthen their communities from within.
Eviction Services
Eviction Free MKE is a Right to Counsel program that helps residents navigate the eviction process, while advocating for fair housing practices and stabilizing households.
Health & Wealth
Legal Aid’s team removes barriers to our clients’ personal and professional growth by offering solutions in matters ranging from estate planning to pardon applications to Social Security appeals.
Guardians ad Litem
Our attorneys represent the best interests of at-risk children and minors in guardianship, paternity, abuse, and other cases as court-appointed guardians ad litem in Children’s and Family Court.
Immigration
We represent those seeking a new beginning in Milwaukee by providing legal advice, outreach, preparedness education and guidance on deportation issues.

Legal Aid Society offers FREE monthly clinics to support individuals with sealing their evictions, resolving garnishment issues and addressing security deposit issues with their landlord.
